Single-phase EMC filter targets lighting applications up to 350V AC
A single-phase EMC filter with a 350V AC rating has been released by Schaffner. It can be used in typical single-phase applications (120 and 230V AC) or industrial applications when utilising phase to neutral voltage off three phase power, explains the company (for example 480V AC P-P / 277V AC P-N and 600V AC P-P / 347V AC P-N).
The single-phase EMC filter is compact and designed specifically for lighting applications with enhanced EMC performance at target frequencies. It also has an extended operational temperature range.
The filter has all the required safety approvals (UL, CSA, ENEC and CQC) and is compliant to REACH and RoHS directives.
