Small PCB power relay has high switching capacity of 32A

Developed for a high switching capacity of 32A in a small size package, the G6QE is a miniature PCB power relay from Omron Electronic Components Europe.

The miniature, low height single-pole power relay achieves 10kV impulse withstand voltage and a reduced power consumption of 12 per cent compared to rated coil consumption, says Omron. The G6QE has been designed to conform with cULus, EN and CQC standards.

The relay will allow customers to design smaller size and higher performance in their applications with a high switching capacity of 32A and some 50,000 operations.  It will provide an energy saving by allowing the holding voltage method, which also lowers heat generation in the application.

With dimensions of 30.5 x 16 x 20.5mm, the G6QE power relay can be used in industrial, home appliances, building automations and commercial applications such as power supply and inverters.

Omron Electronic Components Europe provides electromechanical PCB relays, and components such as micro switches, MOSFET relays, DIP switches, photo microsensors and connectors. Omron’s portfolio includes MEMS-based pressure, flow and thermal measurement sensors, human face and gesture recognition modules, vibration and tilt sensors.

Omron Electronic Components Europe supports its customers in western and eastern Europe, Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) through eight regional offices, a network of local offices and partnerships with specialist, local, regional and global distributors.
