SNACompact terminal blocks save space between wire ducts
Compact terminal blocks from Entrelec are available from TE Connectivity. The SNACompact terminal blocks are made in India and have been created to deliver performance that can raise productivity in restricted areas. At the same time, says TE.
Some blocks in the SNACompact range are 14 per cent shorter than legacy terminal blocks, allowing them to fit in smaller junction boxes and save space between wire ducts. Additional benefits include durability for operation in harsh environments. They are equipped with robust screw clamps which can be combined with end ferrules from TE and certified crimping tools.
To streamline installation, the terminal blocks have an asymmetrical design which reduces mounting errors and a funnel entry which allows for smooth wire introduction and helps eliminate wrong wire insertions, said TE. There is also reduced overall maintenance because the SNACompact terminal blocks use an anti-release system, which provides a secure connection and reduces the need for retightening components.
The terminal blocks are rated at 1,000V, and are UL-and IEC-certified, making them suitable for automation control, industrial machinery, HVAC systems and utilities. The SNACompact terminal blocks are available in a range of wire sizes from 0.22 to 95mm² (24 to 3000 AWG). They can be used in feed-through, ground, disconnect, multi-deck, fuse, test and measurement, sensor-actuator, mini blocks and thermocouple applications.
TE Connectivity offers a broad range of connectivity and sensor solutions, proven in the harshest environments, enable advancements in transportation, industrial applications, medical technology, energy, data communications and the home.
