SoC design management is integrated into analog design flow tools
Ahead of DAC 2019 next week, ClioSoft and Silvaco announce a collaboration that sees the former’s SoC design management platform integrated into the latter’s Analog Custom Design tool flow.
ClioSoft’s SoS7 design management platform and the analog design suite provide design management and multi-site team collaboration support. SOS7 for Silvaco Gateway and Expert tools provides an integrated design management to improve design productivity for analogue and mixed signal designs for process nodes down to 5nm.
There is an intuitive interface for revision control and release management within the Silvaco tools to manage schematics, layouts and other views. Designers can integrate SOS7 for Silvaco into any design flow without having to modify their existing design methodology, adds ClioSoft.
SOS7 for Silvaco integrates with Silvaco Gateway and Expert for auto check-out and check-in and offers access to design management commands from the library navigator in the tools. There are also data management operations for an entire design hierarchy and the platform is designed for performance, scalability and data security, reassures ClioSoft.
The design management platform is designed to minimise possible configuration errors, re-design iterations and makes design reuse more efficient.
