Solid State Supplies announces partnership with VPT
Distributor Solid State Supplies has signed an agreement with VPT to deliver power solutions for mission critical applications. It has been appointed as the sole and exclusive representative / distributor in the UK and Eire for high reliability power modules and other products from VPT.
Under the agreement, Solid State Supplies will provide pre- and post-sales support for the VPT product line from VPT, which includes a broad range of DC/DC converters, EMI filters, inrush current limiters and thermal pads that are specifically designed for high reliability applications including military and commercial avionics, weapons and defence systems and ground based vehicles.
Solid State Supplies will also be offering the MIL-PRF-38534 space qualified DC/DC converters and EMI filters, designed for the most demanding applications, says the company.
VPT designs and manufactures modules and products for high reliability applications. Each device is designed specifically and VPT never ‘upscreens’ lower-grade devices for use in hi-rel applications.
Solid State Supplies provides in-depth technical support to engineers in the UK and Eire, with a particular focus on hi-rel applications.
