SparkBot ensures integration and inspiration

With cloud computing and big data making their mark in the first wave of artificial intelligence (AI), the next phase of AI is now coming into its own. Aetina Corporation is taking a stake in the market and is focusing on industrial GPUPU and GPU based computing platforms, that can be customised and that comply with the Edge AIoT environment.

Plan SparkBot – a word a combination of the words “spark” and “robot” – represents, according to Aetina, the passion and spark the company has for AIoT integration. The plan is aimed at ensuring the integration of software and hardware onto the Aetina AI computing platform but it is also intended to inspire developers in edge AI applications.

SparkBot is involved with and will continue in related product development and there will be collaboraton with vertical system integration companies. It has also signed memorandums of understanding with edge ecosystem partners. In addition, Aetina has taken the opportunity to experiment with robot design in its development within the SparkBot project and has created a whole host of AI possibilities in turn creating more potential for smart environment uses.

Visitors to Embedded World will be able to experience a live demonstration of SparkBot experimental robots. Demonstrations will include three kinds of robots and platforms. These are the Surface, TurtleBot Waffle Pi with Aetina Jetson AGX Xavier-AX710 platform; Line, TurtleBot Burger with Aetina Jetson TX2-AN310 platform; and Dot, TurtleBot Burger with Aetina Jetson Nano-AN110 platform.  Aetina SparkBot will create a logistic application scenario, including warehouse access control and remote management, and there will also be industrial robot, and automatic vehicles will on display in the exhibition.

Aetina was founded in Taiwan in 2012 as a long-term support provider of high-performance GPGPU and Jetson edge AI computing solutions for embedded applications. It focuses on the industrial market, providing industrial components as well as serving as an integrator in the AIoT market, offering smart, innovated, and reliable GPU solutions.

Aetina is at Embedded World in Nuremberg, February 25 to 27, booth 1-207, hall 1.
