Stainless steel enclosure suit industrial environments
Stainless steel electronic enclosures for challenging industrial environments have been launched by Rolec. The inoBox range is designed for demanding applications including marine and offshore, petrochemicals, dairy and food manufacturing. Enclosures in the range are rated IP66 and NEMA 4X for ingress protection and IK08 EN 62262 for impact resistance.
The inoBox enclosures can be wall-mounted either through the base or via with external brackets. This option provides added protection against leaks, says Rolec. Spacers in the base of the enclosures accommodate circuit boards, supporting rails or mounting plates. Inside the lid is an M5 earthing bolt.
There are 14 sizes in the inoBox range, with dimensions ranging from 100 x 100 x 90mm to 400 x 300 x 120mm and in two grades of 1.2mm thick polished stainless steel: 1.4301/A2 (AISI 304) and 1.4404/A4 (AISI 316).
The A2 enclosures feature single-channel lid and assembly fastening to maximise interior space. The A4 versions have separate channels. Both designs are fitted with polyurethane (PU) gaskets (temperature resistance – 40 to + 80 degrees C).
Options and accessories include external mounting brackets, mounting plates, cross rails and supporting rails for series terminals.
Rolec also has an in-house laser processing centre which can process the inoBox in small volumes and at short notice. Customising services include powder coating, wet painting, printing, engraving, laser engraving, EMC shielding, membrane keypads and assembly.
