Straight and right-angled antennae serve 450MHz cellular equipment
Two antennae from Linx Technologies are rugged and compact for 450MHz cellular LTE applications. The compact whip-style ANT-450-RHR-SMA and ANT-450-RHS-SMA antennae provide right-angle and straight antenna versions for cellular and cellular IoT applications in the 450 to 470MHz range, including LTE bands 72, 73, and 31.
The low frequency of the 450MHz spectrum provides for robust connectivity enabling broad coverage and deeper signal penetration through walls and other hard-to-reach areas. These characteristics make the 450MHz band well suited for LTE-M, NB-IoT, and smart devices that require reliable communication.
“The 450 MHz LTE band provides an excellent opportunity for long-range performance for smart grid deployment or penetration of interferers in challenging environments like smart metering applications,” says Tolga Latif, CEO Linx Technologies.
The RHR and RHS 450 LTE antennae are available now via Linx Technologies’ distributor and manufacturer representative networks.
Linx Technologies strives to minimise the risk, delays, and technical challenges for design engineers to make products wireless and connect them to the IoT. Linx manufactures wireless components including antennae, RF connectors and cables, RF modules, and remote controls.
