Suspension arms from Rolec are designed to IP 54
Modular suspension arms in the taraSmart range from Rolec are designed for light to medium loads.
They are simpler and more cost-effective than the company’s profiPlus arms; taraSmart offers advanced technical features at a lower price point, says Rolec.
They are designed to support light to medium displays, human machine interface (HMI) enclosures and panel PCs weighing up to around 45kg. The arms can therefore be used in a range of applications including smart factory automation, modern machine control systems, robotics, process automation, medical and laboratory technology and information stations.
The modular suspension arm system offers a choice of rectangular or round aluminium profiles both with capacity for routing HDMI, DVI and USB cables and network plugs. Each of the two profile shapes is available in four lengths: 250, 500, 750 and 1,000mm. The round profiles are 48mm diameter, so that standard panel PCs from leading manufacturers can be fitted without the need for extra adapters.
There are four couplings, all of which can be specified for pivoting, hanging and upright installations. There are six system elements – a base, two elbows, a socket joint, wall joint and intermediate joint. The system assembly can be horizontally aligned at all joints.
All the couplings and system elements are diecast from aluminium silicon alloy (G Al Si 12). The profiles are manufactured from silver-anodised extruded aluminium. All diecast elements are powder coated in light grey (RAL 7035) with plastic covers in anthracite grey (RAL 7016) as standard. Other colours can be specified as an option.
Rolec offers customisation services, including CNC machining, printing, engraving or laser engraving and assembly.
