TME adds Sonoff switches and DFRobot gas sensors for automation

Transfer Multisort Elektronik (TME) has added touch switches by Sonoff and gas sensors from DFRobot  to help customers create electronic systems to make working and living spaces smarter and safer.

The Sonoff TX touch switches are designed to be easy to mount for integration into modern home and office settings.  They can be added to new systems or retrofitted, advised the company. Illuminated buttons (up to three on each unit, depending on the model) show the user that they have been activated. There is also scope to operate them via mobile devices, or through voice which can be by connection to Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant over either a Wi-Fi network or LAN.

The touch switches are available in two different size formats (either 86 x 86 x 35mm or 120 x 74 x 38mm) and run off a 100 to 240V AC supply.

White and black enclosure versions are available.

TME has also added gas sensors by DFRobot. The pre-calibrated sensors come in a kit, with a base module accompanied by cabling. The cable allows connection to any microcontroller board, including ESP32, Raspberry Pi and Arduino models.

Communication with the sensor element can be done via analogue, I2C or UART interface options. The DFRobot gas sensors are optimised for integration into equipment for applications where air quality needs to be constantly monitored due to limited air circulation. Typical settings are mines, warehouses and processing plants. Versions can be selected for oxygen (O), carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), chlorine (CL2), ammonia (NH3), sulfur dioxide (SO2) nitrogen dioxide (NO2) ozone (O3), hydrogen (H2), hydrogen chloride (HCL), hydrogen fluoride (HF) and phosphine (PH3) sensing.

Adam Kuczyński, co-founder and business development director at TME, said, “Greater levels of automation are now being demanded in both a domestic and an industrial context. Through the high accuracy air monitoring and sophisticated user interface technologies that TME can offer, we are helping to enhance such environments.”

Parts are available to order for delivery immediately worldwide via the company’s website or from the specialised team.

Transfer Multisort Elektronik (TME) is one of the fastest-growing global distributors of electronic, electromechanical, industrial automation components as well as workplace equipment.

The company employs over 1,000 employees in its headquarters in Poland and subsidiaries in other countries. TME supplies thousands of companies in 150 countries and sends 5,000 packages a day.
