Touch panel computer can be vehicle-mounted, says Axiomtek
Rugged and versatile, the GOT610-837 touch panel computer from Axiomtek can be vehicle-mounted.
The rugged 10.4-inch touch panel computer is designed for logistics and manufacturing applications. The vehicle-mounted terminal is powered by the quad-core Intel Atom processor E3845. The touch panel PC has an IP65-rated aluminium front bezel for protection from water and dust ingress. It features class 5M3 (EN 60721-3-5) and Mil-Std 810F certification for vibration and shock tolerance.
The GOT610-837 is designed to fit seamlessly into forklifts and other warehouse vehicles to improve operational efficiencies.
The GOT610-837’s 10.4-inch XGA TFT LCD has a high brightness LED backlight and 500 nits of brightness. Touchscreen options are either a five-wire resistive touch or projected capacitive multi-touch.
The auto-dimming function allows operators to easily read the information under different light conditions, advises Axiomtek. The touch panel computer also has user-friendly programmable function keys on the front panel for operators to easily control brightness, volume and LCD on/off access.
The GOT610-837 features the on board DDR3 memory of up to 8Gbyte and has 16Gbyte flash on-board and one mSATA for storage.
The fanless and slim design allows the vehicle-mounted terminal to be easily deployed in any space-limited environments, says Axiomtek. The Intel Atom-based touch panel PC is built to withstand harsh operating environments with an extended temperature range from -30 to +55 degrees C. It also supports a wide power input range of 9.0 to 60V DC, making it suitable for harsh industrial applications.
The touch panel PC supports wall mount, VESA mount, arm mount and desktop stand for mounting in forklifts, clamp trucks and cranes.
To enable real-time communication, the 10.4-inch XGA fanless touch panel PC is expandable with two PCI Express Mini Card slots and one SIM card slot, as well as three antenna holes. It also has abundant I/O interfaces including one Gigabit LAN port with isolated 1.5KV, four USB type A ports, one RS-232/422/485 with isolated 1.5KV, one DC for power input with isolated 1.5kV, one audio (line-out and mic-in), one six-in/two-out DIO with isolated 1.5kV and one CAN bus interface.
The GOT610-837 is available now and can be used with Windows 10, 8.1 and 7 OS.
