TTI adds Molex Brad M12 and M8 field-attachable connectors from TTI

Offering fast, secure interconnection, the Molex Brad connectors reduce installation and maintenance costs, says distributor TTI.

Designed for use in demanding environments, the Molex Brad range of field-attachable connectors includes high pin-density M12 and M8 connectors rated to IP67.

The connectors are designed to simplify installation and maintenance, reducing labour costs and system downtime. Used in conjunction with Molex I/O modules, over-moulded cord sets and Flamar cables, Brad connectors can be used for the installation and adaptation of complex systems. Applications include all types of commercial, agricultural and military vehicles, as well as in the factory automation, manufacturing, material handling and food processing industries.

Both the Brad M12 Micro-Change and the M8 Nano-Change connectors are designed to withstand harsh environments.  IDC termination and pin colour coding provides a reduction of 80 per cent labour effort when compared to screw termination, says TTI.

The M12 A-coded versions support up to eight-poles and have single and dual-keyway designs.  These Molex Brad M8 connectors are designed for tight spaces, and are available with snap or threaded couplers in three, four and five pole configurations.  Both are shielded and available in straight and 90 degree formats.

TTI is a Berkshire Hathaway company, and an authorised, specialty distributor of interconnect, passive and electromechanical (IP&E) components. Globally, the company maintains two million cubic feet of dedicated warehouse space containing over 850,000 component part numbers. Along with its subsidiaries, Mouser Electronics, Sager Electronics, and Symmetry Electronics, TTI employs over 5,400 employees and is represented in over 100 locations throughout North America, Europe and Asia.

Both devices are now shipping in production quantities.
