TTI lists AVX external antennas for heavy-duty and harsh-environment applications

New to distributor TTI’s line-up is the full range of external antennas from AVX for use in heavy-duty and harsh-environment applications. They offer compact form factors and wide bandwidth capabilities and can be supplied with cabling and connectors included.

The X1005246 antenna measures 105.1 mm x 30.1 mm x 6.7 mm and is suitable for inclusion in various different forms of wireless infrastructure, such as mobile, cellular Internet of Things (IoT) and LPWAN. It supports LTE, LTE-M, NB-IoT, LoRa, Sigfox and Z-wave, plus legacy 2G and 3G technologies.

Covering the 2400-2485 MHz and the 5150-5850 MHz frequency bands, the X1005323 supports the 802.11 a, b, g, n, ac and ax wi-fi protocols. It attains peak gain figures of 2.5 dBi in the 2400-2500 MHz band and 3.3 dBi in the 5150-5825 MHz band.

The X1005245 three-in-one antenna is a low-noise unit with GNSS, GPS-GLONASS and LTE MIMO capabilities. It is housed in a waterproof IPX7 enclosure and can handle temperatures spanning from -40 degrees C to +85 degrees C.

Suitable for GNSS and DSRC, the X1005248 two-in-one antenna has a maximum voltage standing wave ratio of 2.0:1. As well as positioning functions, it can be used in vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure communications.

Addressing 1561 MHz, 1575 MHz and 1602 MHz frequencies, the X1005247 can deliver a peak gain figure of 4.1 dBi at 1575MH). Noise levels are kept to 1.1 dB (typical) and the maximum VSWR is 2.0:1.

The X1005324 – This LTE multiple input – multiple output (mimo) and wi-fi mimo antenna has a 4.9dBi peak gain and an average efficiency of up to 67  per cent, depending on the frequency being used.

AVX external antennas are suitable for a range of applications such as mobile communication, Internet of Things, healthcare, industrial automation, aftermarket automotive, smart agricultural, telematics, wireless access points, digital signage, home automation, point-of-sale units, remote monitoring, tracking and logistics.
