TTI stocks Vishay’s 60V MOSFET to raise DC/DC efficiency
Available in Europe through specialist electronic components distributor, TTI, Vishay’s 60V MOSFET SiR626DP is claimed to be ‘best in class’ and to elevate DC/DC efficiency and performance across the load with minimum circuit rework.
Peak efficiency is up to 15 per cent higher than alternatives available and power loss and power savings are more than 12 per cent higher, reports TTI.
The SiR626DP device reduces I²R conduction loss and features a 40 per cent lower RDS (ON) than the previous generation. This low RDS (ON) is even achieved in an 80 per cent smaller package footprint compared to the last generation. The component increases both power density and output current per device, says TTI.
Main target applications for the 60V SiR626DP MOSFET are synchronous rectification, 24V systems, motor drive control, DC/DC topologies, solar micro inverters, as well as power tools and industrial applications.
TTI is a Berkshire Hathaway company, and is an authorised, specialty distributor of interconnect, passive and electromechanical (IP&E) components. It distributes to industrial and consumer electronics manufacturers worldwide.
Globally, the company maintains two million cubic feet of dedicated warehouse space containing over 850,000 component part numbers. Along with its subsidiaries, Mouser Electronics, Sager Electronics, and Symmetry Electronics. TTI employs over 5,400 employees and is represented in over 100 locations throughout North America, Europe and Asia.
