Vishay’s common mode choke suits 35A applications, says New Yorker

Characterised by a low profile and high shock and vibration resistance, Vishay’s IHCM common mode choke is available from New Yorker Electronics for 35A commercial applications.

The Vishay Custom Magnetics IHCM-2321AA-10 has a low profile and is more robust than typical bulky toroid-based devices, says the distributor. It operates up to +155 degrees C.

The low profile surface mount construction offers a reduced size and volume, making it more resistant to shock and vibration, explains New Yorker Electronics, while the enhanced core design extends current saturation to 35A. High heat rating current is up to 31A.

The IHCM-2321AA-10 is surface-mountable and compatible with automated pick and place assembly.

The Vishay IHCM-2321AA-10 is suitable for high current and high temperature applications, commercial-grade DC/DC converters, EMI filters and high current filters, for noise suppression in motor control and other circuity in industrial and telecomms applications. In addition to its saturation characteristics with low DCR losses, it also exhibits a 1500V DC dielectric withstand voltage between coils.

New Yorker Electronics supplies through-hole options to the standard surface mount configuration, as well customisable inductance, impedance, DCR and current ratings options. The device is RoHS-compliant and halogen-free.

As a franchise distributor for Vishay, New Yorker Electronics supplies the latest Vishay product updates and releases. New Yorker Electronics supplies the full line of Vishay semiconductors and passive components.

Distributor New Yorker Electronics is headquartered in Northvale, New Jersey, USA. It is a franchised distributor of electronic components, value-added services and supply chain solutions to OEMs and contract manufacturers in the commercial, industrial, aerospace and defence markets. It was founded in 1948.

The AS9120B and ISO 9001:2015 certified company provides customer support while providing direct franchise access to an extensive ready-to-ship inventory of passive, interconnect, electromechanical and mil-spec components, as well as semiconductor devices.
