Waterproof IP67 BNC and TNC cable assemblies have PVC armour
Amphenol RF has expanded its portfolio of ruggedised products and introduced waterproof IP67 BNC and TNC cable assemblies that have additional protection from PVC armour.
The IP67 sealed BNC and TNC cable assemblies feature a flexible PVC conduit that wraps the length of the cable and provides an extra layer of protection. The design makes the BNC and TNC cable assemblies suitable for harsh environments and varied applications in the industrial, military and commercial markets.
BNC cable assemblies use connectors which have the familiar bayonet coupling mechanism for easy mating and unmating. The connectors are manufactured from machined brass and die cast zinc with nickel plating. They offer reliable electrical performance up to 6.0 GHz.
TNC cables assemblies are made with similar materials and feature a threaded coupling mechanism, to ensure stable 6.0 GHz performance in volatile environments.
Ruggedised BNC and TNC cable assemblies are IP67 moisture-resistant and are engineered using the industry and military standard RG-58 flexible cable. The 50 Ohm assemblies are available as in-series plug to plug configurations for both interfaces in standard lengths from six inches to 100 feet.
