ZENS adds Apple Watch USB stick to wireless charger

There are 16 overlapping charging coils in the Liberty wireless charger, liberating users to place devices for charging anywhere on the charging pad. The company has enhanced the 2020 version to include the Apple Watch USB stick, a specially designed add-on to charge an iPhone, AirPods and an Apple Watch.

The Liberty is available with two surface options – a woollen upholstery textile (Atlas by Kvadrat) or with a tempered glass surface revealing the charging technology. The 16 overlapping charging coils maximise the active charging area for freedom of placement.

The charging pad can wirelessly charge two devices simultaneously, confirms ZENS. With a total output of 30W (2x15W) and Apple and Samsung Fast Charge, the Liberty will automatically regulate single device power delivery and charge each device at the optimised and fastest charging speed. Any device that supports Qi wireless charging can be recharged anywhere on the charging pad.

Its 2.4A built-in USB-port allows charging an additional device. With the MFi certified Apple Watch USB-stick as add-on, three devices can be reached simultaneously; an iPhone, the AirPods and an Apple Watch.

The ZENS Liberty has a USB-C connection and comes with a 60W USB-C certified power adapter. Separate power plugs for the EU, UK and US are included to make the adapter suitable for global usage.

Together, the Liberty and Apple Watch USB stick can recharge multiple Apple devices at the same time. The USB stick is made of the same high grade aluminium as the Liberty and is placed in a vertical position in the Liberty’s USB port to charge the Apple Watch in sleep mode.

The ZENS Apple Watch USB stick can be used as an add-on for the Liberty charging pad or any other device with a USB A connection such as a laptop or powerbank. The Apple Watch stick can be connected to any USB A port for charging on-the-go. It is MFi-certified and works with all Apple Watches, from series one to five.

The Liberty charger is made out of high grade aluminium and has a three-year extended warranty.
