The Coolisys’ CBTM1800-12 1800-watt AC/DC power supply provides the most suitable architecture of 1800W at 12V for use with the most powerful cryptocurrency ASIC Bitcoin mining systems solve Bitcoin blocks, says Gresham. It can also be provided with different configurations and additional features, such as controls, redundancy and other DC output voltages for other markets.
It is a DSP-controlled, efficient enclosed 12V DC power supply. It incorporates resonance-soft-switching technology to reduce component stresses, increasing system reliability and providing high efficiency, says Gresham.
The power-dense supply has a wide input voltage design with over voltage, under voltage protection and over-current protection, temperature-controlled cooling fan and thermal protection.
System communication signals and commands provided are inhibit (on/off), active low for output shut down, DC fail via TTL level open collector active low when there is loss of regulation, AC Fail (option) open collector active low, I²C passive data, serial number, model number and revision.
Standard features include auto-selected input voltage ranges: 90 to 140V AC, 180 to 260V AC, AC input with power factor correction, 1800W continuous output power capability (at high-line input), output voltage 12V DC, output current 150A, high density design of 44W/in3, high efficiency up to 96 per cent, ±10 per cent voltage input range, noise level: less than 43dB, input frequency range of 47 to 63Hz, 100 per cent rated up to 50 degrees C ambient and output interface PCI-E (six-pin) x 10.
