binder expands its M12-A portfolio with rectangular flange connectors

Rectangular flange connectors with latching, multi-position A-coding have been added to binder’s M12-A-coded connector product range. The two new M12-A versions expand the Series 763 range.

binder’s M12-A segment includes hundreds of connectors and the rectangular flange code-positioning connectors include a stranded-wire version with a new 26mm rectangular housing and a version with solder contacts.

The 26mm rectangular housing for the stranded-wire version uses the same drilling template as the M16 rectangular flange connector. This allows customers to switch to M12 without changing the existing housing.

For simple and reliable installation, binder adopts a two-part approach consisting of the housing and the contact holder. The coding nose of the contact holder can be positioned in increments of 45 degrees.

The installation is user-friendly and the rectangular flange connectors are sealed to comply with IP68, even without a defined tightening torque. In addition to sealing, the rectangular flange connectors are temperature-resistant over a range of -40 to +85 degrees C.

The M12-A positioning rectangular flange connectors are available with four, five and eight pins in the stranded-wire version with a 20 or 26mm rectangular housing. The connectors are also available in a solder version with a 20mm rectangular housing.
