Digi-Key offers Sigfox’s SDR dongle developers’ platform
The Sigfox SDR dongle is designed to help engineers speed up development and tests. It is now available globally through Digi-Key Electronics. The electronic components distributor says the SDR dongle allows for development of Sigfox devices independent from Sigfox public network coverage.
The Sigfox SDR dongle is the hardware platform on which to run the Sigfox Device Test Suite, a comprehensive device developer software toolkit which includes the network emulator. This is developed to test end-to-end and bi-directional data transport services between the device and the application. Also included is the radio signal analyser, developed to test radio compliance with Sigfox verified certification requirements.
