IQD Frequency Products introduces 5V atomic clock
Complementing the rubidium oscillators offered by IQD Frequency Products, the 5.0V IQRB-4 joins the 12V powered IQRB-1, IQRB-2 and IQRB-3 and the recently released 3.3V powered ICPT-1, offered by the company.
The IQRB-4 offers very good short term and long term stability as well as good phase noise, says IQD. It is supplied in a compact package which measures just 50.8 x 50.8 x 25mm.
In addition to the 5.0V supply voltage, the IQRB-4 comes with a standard CMOS signal output. This makes it suitable for most applications, as a CMOS signal is typically required, explains IQD.
The IQRB-4 can be used as a standalone time reference, for example for communication applications or in network structures. Atomic clocks are also an important component of smart and autonomous networks, points out IQD, and in any other design project where exact time and phase synchronisation is required.
