Linx Technologies expands GNSS antenna portfolio with two ceramic patch models
Two global navigation satellite system (GNSS) ceramic patch antennae from Linx Technologies, the ANT-GNCP-CA158L160 and ANT-GNCP-CA188L165, support global GNSS applications including GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, Beidou, IRNSS, and QZSS systems in the L1/E1/B1 bands.
Each antenna provides an integrated 15dB low noise amplifier (LNA) with high gain and a low noise figure of 2.6dB. The Active GNCP antennae terminate with a 1.13mm coaxial cable (60 or 65mm, respectively) and U.FL-type plug (female socket) connector.
Linx Technologies’ CEO, Tolga Latif, said: “By integrating the LNA with the passive antenna and powering the LNA through the antenna feed cable, designers gain performance over a similar passive GNSS ceramic patch antenna.” The ANT-GNCP-CA158L160 and ANT-GNCP-CA188L165 antennae are available now, directly from Linx Technologies’ distributors and manufacturer representatives.
Linx Technologies has a mission statement: ‘Make every engineer a hero in record time’ which is aims to achieve by minimising the risk, delays, and technical challenges for design engineers to make products wireless and connect them to the IoT. Linx manufactures wireless components including antennae, RF connectors and cables, RF modules and remote controls.
