OKW extends Evotec with a sloping top model
Adding a sloping top version of the Evotec 150 enclosure, OKW now offers a range of designer table top enclosures with a 12 degree incline.
The latest addition to the Evotec range of plastic enclosures is a model with a sloping top version. The soft-contoured electronic enclosures are ergonomic yet robust enough to withstand challenging working environments, says the company. Applications include measurement and control, IT, IoT and industrial IoT, gateways, medical, laboratory and environmental technology.
The Evotec 150 Version III is designed with a recessed top that is inclined by 12 degrees for more comfortable viewing and operation. Its large operating area can accommodate switches, pushbuttons and touch displays. The two-part enclosure is assembled with tamperproof Torx stainless steel screws. This make it particularly suitable for use with medical devices. PCBs can be fitted to screw pillars in the top and bottom and rubber feet ensure stable positioning on flat surfaces.
OKW now offers sloping top versions of Evotec in three sizes: 150 (150 x 93 x 36mm), 200 (200 x 124 x 45mm) and 250 (250 x 155 x 54mm). The 200 and 250 sizes can be specified with a recessed (Version II) or smooth (Version III) top.
Evotec is also available with an unrecessed flat top (Version I) in sizes 80 (80 x 50 x 22 or 26mm), 100 (100 x 62 x 26 or 31mm), 150 (150 x 93 x 35 or 54mm), 200 (200 x 124 x 45mm) and 250 (250 x 155 x 54mm).
All Evotec enclosures are moulded from off-white (RAL 9002) UV-stable ASA+PC-FR (UL 94 V-0) as standard.
Accessories include IP 65 seals, a wall suspension element, a mounting bracket for DIN rails (TH35, G32), self-tapping PCB screws (PZ1 and Torx T8) and a Torx T8 screwdriver for assembly.
OKW can supply Evotec enclosures fully customised on request. Services include CNC machining, lacquering, product labels, EMC shielding, printing or laser marking of legends and logos, installation and assembly of accessories.
