PCB enclosures protect from the elements
Components on PCBs are protected from the elements using the sealed B0 IP67 series enclosures, says BCL Enclosures. PCBs can be held vertically or horizontally.
The IP67-rated enclosures ensure continued functioning of electronic circuit boards, says BCL Enclosures. A vacuum seals ensures the enclosures are dust- and particulate-tight. The enclosure can protect the contents against the effects of full immersion in up to one metre of water for as long as 30 minutes, making them suitable for industrial and marine environments.
The B0 series is made of tough ABS plastic and is available in four sizes with either standard (53mm deep) or extra deep (78mm) bases. The available sizes are: B01, with dimensions of 80mm (high) and 73mm wide; the B02 models which are 80mm high and 106mm wide. The B03 models measures 80mm high and 139mm wide. Finally, the B04 models measure 80mm high and 172mm wide.
PCBs can be held internally either horizontally or vertically via mounting slots. The enclosures feature M20 threaded cable knockouts and come complete with four captive plastic screws. Snap-on DIN rails and flange brackets are available.
The enclosures are available in grey and black and bases and lids of the same size can be mixed and matched to produce different combinations. Transparent lids are also available in each model size for ease of component inspection when required.
