Pre-assembled XLR connector rack panel saves space
Designed to speed system assembly and save space, the CP30183 rack panel from Cliff Electronics features eight male and eight female , three-pin front-mounted XLR connectors in a 1U x 19-inch rack panel.
Cliff’s pre-assembled connector panels assist systems integrators by simplifying and speeding up assembly time while reducing component count and cost, says the company.
For use in audio and broadcast (studio and mobile) applications, the loaded rack panel is also suitable for instrumentation and control connectivity. The connectors have solder tag connections and a cable strain relief bracket is provided to secure internal wiring against strain and vibration. A connector labelling strip is located on the front of the panel to allow users to identify each connector.
Other pre-assembled rack panels available from Cliff feature 16 of its FeedThrough connectors each. They are available in 50, 75 and 75 Ohm gold insulated BNC, CAT6 RJ45 and CAT6A, HDMI A to HDMI A, USB2 A to USB2 B and USB2 B to USB2 A with fibre optic connector types ST/BFOC, LC duplex SM and LC duplex MM. Two other non-Feedthrough versions are mounted with XLR 3DCM and XLR 3DCF connectors.
Cliff rack panels may also be supplied without connectors for end users to mount their own single or mix of connector types. Any connector with the standard 24mm-diameter XLR panel cut-out may be fitted.
Cliff manufactures a wide range of standard and FeedThrough connectors which may be mounted in the panels. These include RJ45, HDMI, BNC and USB3.0- compliant single and dual USB versions in addition to the existing range which provides analogue, digital and optical Feed-Through connectivity in formats including Firewire, HDMI A-A and 50 Ohm BNC versions, USB2 A-to-B and B-to-A “gender change” sockets high speed USB Type-C, USB3 to USB3 in all gender changing configurations – A-A, A-B and B-A. Also available are all popular data and Ethernet connectors including USB 2.0 and 3.0, LC and SC Fibre (Duplex and Simplex), UTP and FTP RJ45s in both Cat6 and Cat5e (shielded and unshielded), Toslink, RCA Phono and HDMI and blanking plates.
