QVGA display has direction-independent viewing angle
Even in bright environments, the TM035HDHP13 3.5-inch QVGA display is easy to read, says Tianma Europe. The display has a luminance of 1000cd/m2 and a crisp contrast ratio of 1:800.
The active-matrix TFT display is recommended as a screen for outdoor devices such as bicycle navigation systems, although it can be also used in daylight rooms such as laboratories or control stands for machines and systems.
As well as being suited to a variety of lighting environments, the TM035HDHP13 display can also be read from any direction. The viewing angle is completely independent of direction, explains Tianma Europe with dimensions of 88 degrees. The screen diagonal is 3.5-inches or about 90mm, making the TM035HDHP13 suitable for portable devices. The device operates in a wide temperature range from -20 to +70 degrees C. The LED backlight is designed for an operating time of 20,000 hours and lasts the life of the device, confirms Tianma Europe.
The TM035HDHP13 communicates with the outside world via an 18-bit RGB interface. According to the QVGA definition, the resolution amounts to 240 x 320 pixels with an aspect ratio of 3:4.
