TCXOs are stable and exhibit superior ageing over industrial temperature range
Wireless applications such as Wi-Fi, GPS, cellular, LPWA for IoT, and two-way radio can use the M-series TCXOs TG2016SMN (2.0 x 1.6mm2) and TG2520SMN (2.5 x 2.0mm2) from Epson Electronics Europe.
The M-series TCXOs feature a supply voltage of 1.7 to 3.63V and cover a frequency range of 10 to 55MHz. According to Epson, they deliver superior performance to enable stable and reliable communications over many years of usage.
M-series TCXOs use an Epson-developed and fabricated IC and MHz crystal. The MHz crystal is produced with Epson’s patented photolithographic process named QMEMS to deliver consistent performance and high stability.
The IC features Epson’s third generation temperature compensation technology for improved phase noise floor of -164dBc/Hz at 26MHz, frequency stability over temperature ±0.5ppm at -40 to +85 degree C, and less than ±0.5ppm ageing per year.
Epson’s product range includes inkjet printers and digital printing systems to 3LCD projectors, watches and industrial robots. Led by the Japan-based Seiko Epson Corporation, the Epson Group comprises more than 76,000 employees in 87 companies around the world.
