Würth Elektronik eiSos adds to MagI³C power modules

High power density modules in the MagI³C-VDMM (Variable Step Down MicroModule) have been added to the MagI³C series of power modules. The step-down converter has variable output voltage and is a compact LGA-6EP package with dimensions of 3.2 x 2.5 x 1.6mm.

The input voltage range for the MagI³C-VDMM step-down converters is from 2.75 to 5.5 V DC. The DC/DC converter can be operated on a 5.0 or 3.3V bus. VOUT of the power module with integrated inductor and capacitors ranges from 0.6 to 5.5V. The efficient module delivers an output current up to 600mA. The MagI³C-VDMM modules can replace linear controllers and are suitable for powering interfaces, microcontrollers, microprocessors, DSPs and FPGAs. The small package size and high efficiency, make the module suitable for use in mobile and battery-operated devices. The MagI³C-VDMM is now available from stock, says Würth Elektronik eiSos. Free samples can be requested.
