Mouser stocks TE Connectivity’s lighting development solution

The Lumawise Endurance N enhanced base is now available at Mouser Electroncis. The base creates a platform for the rapid development and manufacturing of NEMA/ANSI-compliant street and outdoor lighting controls, smart grids, and commercial lighting solutions.

TE Connectivity has taken the existing Lumawise base assembly and integrated a switch-mode AC/DC power supply, 16A switching relay, and metal-oxide varistor (MOV) surge protector onto the NEMA/ANSI C136.41-compliant base. This, says Mouser, takes the base assembly to the next level of performance required for smart street light controls. The enhanced base provides commonly used DC voltages to a system’s control PCB, which stacks on top of the assembly using the integral stand-offs and standard wire jumpers.

The RoHS-compliant Lumawise Endurance N enhanced base provides a standard mechanical and electrical platform that supports design reuse, modularity and end-of-line customisation across designers’ outdoor lighting control products. The base is available with an energy metering header in 50, 60, and 50/60Hz options, with or without a zero-cross circuit.
