Two-slot fanless computer is customizable
Axiomtek has announced the IPC962-511-FL, a two-slot fanless barebone system. It has a modular design and is optimised for expandability, says the company.
The IPC962-511-FL, is powered by the seventh/sixth generation Intel Core and Celeron processors (codename: Kaby Lake/Skylake) operating up to 35W with the Intel H110 chipset.
The compact industrial computer provides flexible expansion options with one I/O module slot and two PCI/PCIe expansion slots. It has a wide operating temperature range of -10 to +60 degree C, and is equipped with a wide range 19 to 30V DC power input for mission-critical environments. The ruggedised industrial PC is made for automatic optical inspection, digital signage, motion control, factory automation, and assorted industrial IoT applications.
To meet different customisation requirements, the IPC962-511-FL has an optional I/O module slot and three different types of I/O modules. The choices, include a four-port isolated RS-232/422/485 module; isolated eight-in/eight-out DIO module; two-port isolated RS-232/422/485 and four-in/four-out DIO module. The IPC962-511-FL can provide system integrators with less cabling for a lower total cost of ownership.
The compact industrial PC also provides two flexible PCI/PCIe expansion slots with three different combinations of AX96205, AX96206, AX96207: one PCIe x16 and one PCIe x4; one PCIe x16 and one PCI; 2 PCI. The IPC962-511-FL is targeted at applications requiring high ruggedness and high flexibility under harsh environments.
The fanless modular system is equipped with dual DDR4-2133 SO-DIMM slots with up to 32Gbyte system memory. The embedded system is equipped with rich front-facing I/O connectors, including two Gbit LAN ports, four USB 3.0 ports, one VGA, one HDMI, one three-pin terminal block, and one audio (mic-in/out) port.
The all-in-one box computer has a full-size PCI Express mini card slot for 3G/4G, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth applications. Two easy-swappable 2.5-inch HDDs are available to meet storage needs. A user-friendly AT/ATX DIP switch is provided for adjustments between automatic and manual operation control.
The IP40-rated IPC962-511-FL is compatible with Windows 10 and Linux operating systems and supports Axiomtek’s exclusive AXView software for smart device monitoring and remote management IoT applications.
Axiomtek’s IPC962-511-FL, the 2-slot rugged industrial computer, is going to be available in February, 2018.
